He followed his intuition, taught himself how to handcraft beautiful hardwood boxes, then pewter and Brazilian rosewood belt buckles and his career as an artist and jeweler was on his way. Today his jewelry show some of the finest gemstones available and feature clean and timeless designs. After establishing Geoffrey Roth, and enjoying great success as an artist and gallery owner for over 25 years, Geoffrey longed for something more: the making of his own luxury wrist watch. He had always been fascinated by watches. This, however, was to become much more challenging than he had anticipated. |

Working mostly with Swiss companies turned out to be frustrating and trying. After two years he succeeded and received the first line of limited edition men's wrist watches which sold out quickly. Re-ordering proved impossible. So what does a man like Geoffrey do? He buys his own CNC machine and gets to work. Somewhere during that period he met and fell in love with a Swiss woman who also happens to love machines. Today, he machines the second edition watches in his studio in Sedona, AZ, and Katharina takes care of the office. Plans are in progress to also machine the dials, crowns and hands in his studio and then to go on to the Chronograph and other models that are in the process of design. |
